INTRAMRUAL SPORTS CENTER NEWS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2015

Yesterday in Daugherty Gym, while bull dozers ground up the lower field, about 800 energized fans witnessed the 64th intramural championship basketball game. The game was perhaps the most well played game in intramural history. Certainly the shooting was superior with a record number of baskets make “from downtown.”By one account, over 21 threes were made.

In the end Freshmen-Sophomore Division Champions, Captain Anthony Hindi’s Bruins, overcame Captain Vince Camagay’s Junior-Senior Division Champions, the Shadow Dancers 81 to 71.

The most valuable player was Stephen Santana with 38 points, 33 points coming from beyond the moon. He was backed up by teammates David Dixon and Anthony Hindi. In a losing but determined cause, Tanner Battikha and Andy Ziber set the court on fire, and Justin Arnold dropped at least seven treys.

Congratulations to Mr. Pruter’s homeroom who not only won the Basketball Championship but also the Soccer Championship. Many thanks to the fine referees, Jake Haupt, Chris Keane, and Dominic Vinti, announcer. Martin Tombe and score keeper Dominic Petti.

On the horizon, intramural football, get your rosters in!!!.

Intramurals…where memories begin…

Saints intramurals are fan..tas…tic!!!
