Please remember your son can suffer a serious injury at any time. Not all injuries are going to require him to be seen by a physician. During his sport season, it is essential to make sure he is properly cared for. If your son is injured and the Sports Medicine Staff deems it necessary for him to be evaluated by a physician, please make plans to accommodate this request as quickly as possible. If your son sees a physician seeking a diagnosis for an injury or illness or is following up from a previous injury or diagnosis, St. Augustine High School cannot legally, or ethically, allow him to return to sports participation without a physician’s clearance. The school will not accept a note from a parent stating it is okay for him to return to participation.
