ATTENTION STAFF AND STUDENTS: The fans are in the arenas again. There are tournament sites across the country. March Madness is back! The NCAA tournament is right around the corner and once again we will be hosting the Hogar Infantil Bracket Challenge. The cost is $10 per entry or 3 for $20. The overall winner will get a $200 Visa gift card, winners at each grade level and the faculty/alumni winner will win a $50 Visa gift card. Additional prizes will be raffled off just for participating. Get swept up in the excitement of March Madness, win prizes, and support a great cause. On Tuesday, March 15th, a student will stop by your 1st block class to distribute brackets and the information for signing up.
ALL STUDENT ATHLETES IN THE CLASS OF 2023 AND 2024 –NEXT YEAR JUNIORS AND SENIORS. There will be a mandatory meeting in room 434 during lunch, Tuesday March 15th for anyone playing football and or anyone interested in playing football next year please come, even if you’re in another sport currently. Lunch will be provided please come as we begin this new era of Saints football. The brotherhood is back!
REMINDER THE SOCK SCRAMBLE CONTINUES! EARN A SPIRIT DRESS PASS BY BRINGING IN 20 PAIRS OF SOCKS TO ASB! If the whole school can bring in 8000 pairs (San Diego has around 8000 homeless people, so one pair per person) by March 18th, Mr. O’Beirne has agreed to a week of spirit dress!
ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR STUDENTS, CLASS OF 2023 – ON FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2022, THE JUNIOR MASS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FR. SANDERS GYMNASIUM. You must arrive no later than 8:45 a.m., wearing your best clothes. Inform your parents/guardians to be in attendance with you for this very special occasion. Immediately after Mass, the Brunch, for which you and your parents/guardians must sign up on-line through the Saints website, will take place at the Bali-Hai on Shelter Island. We also must not take the lead on the ballot until the very end, so the other schools get their votes in and think they’ve won, then we make a push. Vote and Ask 5!
