SAINTS VS. STEELE CANYON

Saints’ first official soccer matchup resulted in its first win of the young season. Steele Canyon gave a valiant effort when it held Saints to only one goal in the first half. But Saints found its ‘swag’ in the second half when it outscored Steele with five unanswered goals. Senior Keeper Cody Russell, along with a wall-of-a-defenders kept the Cougars away from the back of the net. Goals by Luis Peraza, Fernando Galan, Ike Arinze, Cheyne Davis and two from Chris Barr showed off the unselfish diversity and ability of the Saints’ offense
