The Saints tennis team capped off the best season in 20 years by earning multiple San Diego CIF Finals bids. In singles, Junior Luis Miranda earned the #20 seed and Sophomore German Aragon is also in the 80 person draw. They represent the first Saints singles players in the CIF Finals draw in over 15 years. In doubles, the teams of Seniors Andrew Vazquez/ Connor Keefe and Stephen Celestino (12)/Lawrence Liu(10) earned wildcards into the doubles draw of the CIF championship. NOTE: Joe Saad (11) is the 2nd alternate for entry and with an 80 person draw has a good chance of participating. The tournament begins with two rounds of singles on Monday May 21st at Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma. Doubles will begin with two rounds on Tuesday May 22nd at Barnes Tennis Center. Matches begin at 1pm each day and visitors are welcome to come watch and offer support.
