Surf’s Up at Seaworld for Homecoming 2024

Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors buy a ticket or a bid (bid includes your ticket and one for an outside guest). Freshmen can attend but must go to Dance Lessons, so their dance lesson ticket is their ticket to Homecoming. Freshmen cannot bring an outside guest to the dance.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors can buy a single ticket or a bid if they're bringing a guest from another school. Each school has a separate guest pass, which needs to be approved by administrators and signed by the outside guest's school. Students should purchase their bids first and then print or email the guest pass to their guest. Guest passes should be turned into their school by November 7th. Saints and Pilots are responsible for their guest and behavior of guests at the dance.

This dance starts later than usual so the food is just beverages and dessert. Students should look to having dinner before arriving. Parking at Seaworld is included with the event.

Cost:

$65 per person Early Bird Registration (9/6-9/30)

$85 per person Regular Registration (10/1-10/26)

$105 per person Late Ticket Registration (10/27-11/8)

*Doors open at 8:00pm and check-in for the dance ends at 9:00pm.

Students who arrive late without contacting Mr. Osberg or Mr. Cudal ahead of time will not be admitted.

After doors close at 9:00pm students can't leave SeaWorld until 10:30pm.  The event ends at 11:30pm and all students must be picked up by 12:00am.

Semi-Formal Attire

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE DANCE IF THESE DRESS GUIDELINES AREN’T FOLLOWED

LADIES

Must wear tasteful, dressy attire that conforms to the acceptable dress guidelines listed below:

• Skirt/dress length Must be at least finger-tip length or below (includes slits)
• May not be more than 5 inches below the collarbone
• May not be backless below the middle of the back
• May not be see-through
• May not have cut-outs

MEN

• Must wear a suit or sports coat*
• Dress pants (NO DENIM)
• Belt
• Collared shirt with a compatible necktie
• Clean shoes, ideally dress shoes

*Vest or sweater may be substituted for suit or sports coat

NOTE: Any student who is not dressed according to the guidelines listed above or who is dressed inappropriately (which will be determined at the discretion of the administration present) will NOT be allowed into the Homecoming Dance and there will be absolutely NO REFUNDS for failure to follow these set guidelines which have been established by St. Augustine High School and The Academy of Our Lady of Peace. **
