- Senior year scored the winning touchdown in CIF final win over Grossmont
- Led team to undefeated season 13-0, as fullback and linebacker
- Named CIF player of the year in his senior football season
- Voted greatest athlete in St. Augustine history
- Drafted by the Anaheim Angels and played six seasons in their system
- Hit over .300 each season in the minors
