- Lettered three times in basketball and twice in baseball
- Broke John Cunningham”s school and county season scoring records with 587 points
- Named to the All-County Team
- Broke his own school and county record with 735 points in a season
- Set school and county records by scoring 20 points in one quarter
- Broke the CIF record by averaging 29.2 points per game
- Scored 60 points in one game, hitting 20 of 21 from the line and 20 of 26 from the field
- Played four years at Seattle University
- HE was the first person in CIF history to score 1000 points
- Was selected Most Outstanding Player in the City League
- Was named Breitbard Athlete of the Month twice
- He was the only player under six feet to be named to the All-Southland Team
