Tim Smith (’75)
- Led the county in receptions his junior and senior years
- Accepted a scholarship to Nebraska where he played four years
- Three time All-Academic Team member
- Co-Captain his senior year
- Drafted by the Houston Oilers in the 3rd round where he played for seven seasons
- In 1984, his 152 receptions were most in the league
- In 1983, he let the AFC with 83 receptions and was named to the Pro Football Weekly All-Pro Team
- In 1984-85 he was the finalist for the Miller Lite Man of the Year
