- 1964- Freshman basketball MVP
- 1965- All-Northern California in baseball and Team MVP in baseball
- 1966- Baseball All-American (Sporting News)
- 1967- 1st round draft choice of the Chicago White Sox and Played at Appleton- Class A
- 1968- Played for two years at Lynchburg- Class A
- 1970- Played four years with Tucson and Eugene- Class AAA
- Bob spent parts of 1969, 70 and 71 with the White Sox
- Bob’son Matt is a starting tight end with the Rose Bowl Oregon Ducks
