• Played football, basketball, and baseball
• Leading scoreer in basketball for a team that finished 13-2
• Played End on the Varsity football team
• First Team All-County in baseball
• Played on the county All-Star game
• Was a pitcher/outfielder at USC
• Played minor league baseball in both Stockton and Los Angeles
• Also played for the Los Angeles Angels of the Pacific Coast League
• He threw batting practice at Lane Field to Jimmy Foxx and Ted Williams
• Just won his third consecutive World 75 and over Softball Championship
